For over twenty years, I've built infrastructure and production systems that people depend on.
Sometimes that meant hanging lighting truss over thousands of spectators before a national event. Sometimes it meant engineering secure cloud infrastructure for thousands of corporate users. Sometimes it meant writing custom software that processed hundreds of broadcast videos every day without anyone thinking twice about it.
On paper, those jobs aren’t related. To me, they've always been the same job: ensuring the show goes on.
The Birth of the Studio
I started in television production at fourteen, learning under an independent producer while working around a major network affiliate in Jacksonville. Those early years taught me that preparation beats panic and that the smallest overlooked detail can become the biggest failure.
That philosophy followed me into nearly a decade of national touring as a Production Manager and Technical Director. Every weekend was a different city, a different venue, and a different high-stakes challenge. We built complete production environments from the ground up—lighting, audio, broadcast video, networking, and recording systems—all on tight schedules with no room for mistakes.
When I left the road to come home for my growing family, I didn't leave that discipline behind. I traded sports arenas for enterprise infrastructure, modernizing technology networks serving thousands of users, leading cloud migrations, and managing multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects.
I founded Scott-Tech Studios to bring those two worlds together under one banner.
